Martin has been volunteering for Saturday deliveries since he moved here.  It started when he decided he wanted his Saturday paper at breakfast so he would go up to the shop early.  At the start of the Covid pandemic he offered to deliver some of his neighbours papers, and it soon became a weekly round which he enjoys.  

Saturday morning will always see Martin at the shop as the door opens around 7.30am to find Andy sorting papers and fresh milk for the day’s deliveries.

Having moved to Cumbria in 2019 he quickly found his way around the area and met a lot of new friends that way.  He commented that people are really friendly and always appreciative.
