Hesket Newmarket Community Shop

Volunteer
Can you volunteer in the shop?
So far, we’ve had responses from over fifty people to our volunteer recruitment drive. If you are interested in lending a hand with anything once we’re up and
running – serving in the shop, post office or tearoom, stock-taking, baking, deliveries, or anything else you can think of, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Public meeting
Tuesday 4th November | 7pm | Caldbeck Village Hall
We will hold our next public meeting in early November so please come along for a chat and a cuppa if you’re wondering about how you can volunteer with us!
Whether it’s stocking shelves, running the till, baking cakes or making tea, there’s a role for everyone. Post Office training is free, and no one will be asked to do anything they’re not comfy with.
If you miss us on Tuesday, you can simply leave your details in the shop, sign up below or give anyone on the Committee a call to chat about how you can get involved – it’ll be fun, rewarding and make a real difference.

Show Horticultural section…
